Baked Honey Garlic Baby Ribs


  1. 1 kg baby pork ribs
  2. 1 large white onion, chopped
  3. 1/2 cup honey
  4. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  5. 1/4 cup soy sauce
  6. 1/4 cup butter
  7. 2 tsp mustard powder
  8. 1 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
  9. Carrots, cut into matchsticks
  10. Cucumber, cut into matchsticks
  11. Few pieces of romaine lettuce (for presentation)



  1. Heat pan in medium heat.
  2. Add all ingredients except ribs in pan and stir fry for about 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 deg C.
  4. Cool the mixture.
  5. Before slicing the ribs, remove the thin membrane at the back of the ribs, so that the sauce can penetrate the ribs thoroughly.
  6. Slice the baby ribs.
  7. Add baby ribs and marinate overnight. If not possible, then marinate for at least an hour before putting into oven.
  8. Pour all and arrange baby ribs unto baking tray.
  9. Cook for about 90 minutes, turning occasionally.
  10. Set the serving plate with romaine lettuce and vegetables.
  11. Remove and serve. Pour the remaining sauce into bowl and serve as a dip.
