This is the first time I’m trying out a hydroponics setup. This setup comes complete with the baskets, sponges, a pump and timer for the water flow. I specifically chose this design as I can fit it on the balcony ledge with quite a good support. As it is a distance from the house and requires wiring from inside the house across the corridor, I did not want to use the electric pump. Hence, I bought a separate solar panel to pump the water from the water tank to the system.
