Seafood with Homemade Sambal Belachan


  1. 300g prawns
  2. 1 squid
  3. 2-3 stalks of spring onion
  4. 2 tbsp sambal belachan (See recipe here)
  5. 1 yellow onion (optional)


  1. Heat up some oil in a wok.
  2. Put in onions and stir fry till fragrant.
  3. Put in squid and prawns and fry till half cooked.
  4. Drop in 2 tbsp of sambal belachan and stir till coated evenly.
  5. Serve.
