
Ingredients
- 200g Ginger (pounded)
- 1 bottle Black Vinegar
- 375ml water
- 150g Gula Melaka
- 1 Pork Trotter (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Rice Wine
- 3 slices Ginger
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
Method
- Wash trotters and cook in boiling water with rice wine and ginger slices for about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside
- Pound big slices of ginger.
- Add 2 tbsp sesame oil and fry the ginger till brown.
- Pour in vinegar and water.
- Put in drained trotters.
- Turn on high heat till it boils, and on medium heat, boil it for 2 hours before it is ready.
- You may add hard-boiled eggs to serve together.
